Do you need help with your electric or gas bill? Please call (714) 769-8222 on Tuesdays at 1:30PM to schedule an appointment. Limited appointments are available each week.
The following are the requirements to qualify for the Utility Assistance program:
- You must either be a customer of Southern California Edison for electric bill assistance or a customer of SoCal Gas for gas bill assistance.
- You CANNOT have received assistance through this program in the last 12 months.
- You must have electricity or gas service still connected, NOT disconnected already.
- The bill must be under your name or you must be an authorized user on the account.
Emergency Rental
Assistance Program (ERAP)
We have reached our capacity for processing applications to the District 4 Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP). Due to the high volume of responses received, therefore, we are pausing the acceptance of new applications at this time.
Please check back on d4.ocgov.com/ERAP for the latest information and updates regarding the program’s status.
Do you need help with your rent payment, or are currently unhoused and looking for assistance? Please call (714) 769-8777 or visit d4.ocgov.com/ERAP to apply. Limited assistance is available. Funding will be distributed on a first come first served basis.
The following are the requirements to qualify for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP):
- You must reside in Orange County’s Fourth District, which includes the cities of Brea, Buena Park, La Habra, Placentia, Stanton, Portions of Anaheim, and unincorporated areas in the 4th District.
- You must be at risk of losing housing due to unpaid rent, low-income households based on HUD guidelines, and/or experiencing a sudden change in income.
- You must be able to commit to working with a Case Manager for a minimum of three months to identify housing options, create a monthly budget, and receive other resources.
