Donor Spotlight: Brown-Pacific Inc.
Brown-Pacific Inc, a longtime supporter of Friendly Center, is a wire and bar manufacturing company. Brown-Pacific’s founder, Ken Brown, started the company in 1972 and has been an integral part of its continued success in the fastener industry for the past 47 years. Ken and his wife Diane have also been part of the continued success of Friendly Center – their long history of supporting our organization goes back over 50 years. During that time, Ken Brown served on Friendly Center’s Board of Directors and remains a Board Member Emeritus. On the recognition of their incredible dedication to Friendly Center, Diane shares, “It is an understatement to say we feel blessed to have been able to help Friendly Center.”
Today, under the leadership of Ron and Claudia Nagele (Ken and Diane’s daughter and son-in-law), Brown-Pacific Inc is a Legendary Partner –– the highest level of support in Friendly Center’s Corporate Sponsorship Program. Through this support, Brown-Pacific’s business and customers play a dynamic role in ensuring children and families in poverty receive the resources and opportunities needed to build a life outside of poverty. Because of corporate sponsors like Brown-Pacific, Friendly Center can offer free, family-strengthening programs to the community like family counseling, after-school tutoring, food distributions, domestic violence intervention, job development workshops, and more.
