Summer Success = Fall Readiness

During the 2020-2021 school year, students in The Power of Me participated in virtual tutoring and STEAM projects while safely picking up food, hygiene items, and school supplies from Friendly Center on an on-going basis.

As of July, The Power of Me resumed in-person, with students engaging in outdoor science experiments, self-esteem workshops, and more during a 4-week summer program. To mark the successful completion of the summer program, students and their families enjoyed an Angels baseball game on Sunday, August 1st.

For The Power of Me 2021-2022 school year, we look forward to continuing to offer the program safely in-person, welcoming tutors back into the classroom, and helping students succeed today for a brighter tomorrow.
