Friendly Center’s 21st Annual Golf Tournament

On Friday, June 28 Friendly Center supporters gathered at Black Gold Golf Club in Yorba Linda to raise funds to support programs for children in poverty at the twenty-first Annual Golf Tournament. It was a sunny day on the greens, and though the course was a little more challenging than previous years – the views and good company made it a round to remember for all. The Overall Event Sponsor of the tournament, Chapman University, made it all possible! Proceeds of the tournament benefited Friendly Center’s after school program, The Power of Me, a yearlong S.T.E.A.M. centered program that invites children from low income households to experience a diverse array of subject matter in a learning environment designed for them to cultivate academic talents, interests, and goals.
